Pat the fish dry by using a paper towel from both sides.
Sprinkle the top of the fish with salt and pepper gently.
Heat up the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once you see the slight bubbles, that means your pan is ready.
Layer the fish fillet in the pan, and the sprinkled side will go down first.
Cook for 2-3 minutes without moving its position. When it’s time to flip, ensure that the inside area of the fish is crispy and golden brown.
While the first side is getting cooked, season the other side with salt and pepper.
Then flip the fish, and cook for another 2-3 minutes to get a similar crisp.
Once the fish fillet is ready, it will be smeared through and crumble easily.
Serve the crispy, delicious fish fillet straight out of the pan with some squeezed lemon on the top, and enjoy!
